Position Summary:
The Planning and Zoning Director is responsible for overseeing and directing the development, zoning, and land-use planning efforts for Jessamine County and the City of Wilmore. This position ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while promoting responsible growth and development within the community. The Director leads a team of four direct reports, including the Building Inspector, Planning and Zoning Administrator, Civil Engineer, and Planning and Zoning Secretary, to execute the county’s planning and zoning policies effectively.
Seasonal Grounds Crew

Position Summary:
The Seasonal Grounds Crew is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of landscaped areas and outdoor spaces. This position involves professional mowing with striping techniques, maintaining a clean and safe job site, and caring for tools, equipment, and vehicles. Duties include landscape bed cleanup, mulching, tree pruning, and planting, watering, and maintaining various plant materials.
